Add your creative.space node to an existing ZeroTier network, so that it can connect to other workstations on the network.
On Your Account
WARNING
The following steps require you to first add your ZeroTier API key to your creative.space node.
- Go to the System page as a ‘System Admin’.
- Scroll down to the ‘ZeroTier’ section and click on the ‘Gear’ icon in the top right.
- Under ‘Available Networks’ click on the network you want to join.
- Click on ‘Join Network’ and you Node will be added to it.
On Another Account using a Network ID
If you have multiple nodes or have created ZeroTier networks directly through the ZeroTier web portal, you can also join these networks by copying the ZeroTier Network ID and adding it to your System page manually.
- Go to the System page of the web app as a ‘System Admin’. Get the node ID from the ‘Node ID’ section. You will need it in Step 6.
- Go to another creative.space node’s ‘System’ page and scroll down to the ‘ZeroTier’ section to find and copy a ‘Network ID’ or get it directly from the ZeroTier administrator portal.
- Paste the network ID of the ZeroTier network you want to join in the ‘ZeroTier Network ID’ field below all of your networks. Then click ‘Add’. Your creative.space node will request access to the network, and will display ‘Pending Network Authorization’.
- To give your creative.space node network authorization, go to the Networks page of your ZeroTier account. Then find the network you added your node to, and click ‘0123456789abcdef’.
- Deselect ‘Authorized’
- Locate the row with the Address that matches the Node ID from Step 1. Then select the ‘check box’ under the Auth? column to authorize it.
- Go back to the creative.space management interface. The ZeroTier network you just joined will be ‘Connected’.
